The use of the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) will be mandatory soon. Non-compliance will be punishable by a penalty of up to 100% of the tax indicated on the invoice or up to 18.7% of the amount due as shown on the document.
Access to the KSeF
The KSeF can be accessed in two ways:
- The first is an application provided by the Ministry of Finance. It is free but has limited functionality. It suits the needs of small companies, but may not be sufficient for large companies.
- For larger companies, it will be more beneficial to use commercial software that automates the flow of invoices. Especially if more than a few invoices per month pass through the organisation.
